On Tuesday, May 29, twitter certainly had it’s fun with a twitter trend asking Sherlockians to replace a random word in their favorite Sherlock Holmes quotes (focusing on the BBC showSherlock) with the word “pancake”. Within a few hours, hundreds of tweets appeared and laughter could be heard world-wide.
We at SherlockNYC had our fun with a staff meeting for about six hours, going over status of our upcoming events this June (a theater outing to see NTL’s Frankenstein in NYC and a Connecticut outing to Gillette Castle), status check on projects, and of course, pancakes. We shared our favorite quotes and had what was most likely an illegal amount of fun creating these pictures.

First time hearing about us? We’re a group located in New York City, hosting meetups and events to celebrate our love of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s world of Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson, and supporting the careers of those that bring all the different renditions to life, from literature to film.
